Eugen Elmiger has been the Chief Executive Officer of the maxon Group since 2011, guiding the company with dedication and strategic vision. His career at maxon began in 1991, where he significantly contributed to the expansion of sales operations in Asia. Eugen holds a degree in electrical engineering from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences, supplemented by further studies at the University of St. Gallen and Stanford Business School.

Norbert Bitzi, Chief Financial Officer since 2012, oversees the company’s finances. He is a certified Swiss accountant and controller with an MBA from the University of Bern.

Dr. Stefan Müller has been leading innovation and development as Chief Technology Officer at the maxon Group since 2022. He joined the company in 2017 and holds a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Stuttgart.

Andreas Richter has been our Chief Operating Officer since 2020 and plays a key role in implementing the company's business strategy. He holds the position of vice chairman at maxon Group. Andreas has a degree in industrial engineering and a master's in strategic management.

Roger Villiger has been serving as Chief Sales Officer since 2024, maintaining close contact with our customers. His career at Maxon began in 2010 as a sales engineer, providing him with an in-depth understanding of the company. Mr. Villiger holds a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Zurich, where he also completed an Executive MBA.

Karl-Walter Braun, majority shareholder of the maxon Group, joined the company in 1974. Co-founded by his father, he remains influential in maxon's direction and is often on campus.

Bianca Braun, President of the Board of Directors, has inherited her entrepreneurial spirit from her father. She has been a Board member since 2008 and has held the position of Head of the Audit Committee at maxon since 2012. She obtained her doctorate in business studies from the University of St. Gallen.

Former maxon CTO until late 2021, he now serves on the Board of Directors. Over 14 years, he led the company's research and development and established a global R&D organization.

Tax expert, Dorothea Zünd-Bienz, joined the maxon Group's Board of Directors in 2004 and has been on the Audit Committee since 2023.

Kurt Meier, an independent entrepreneur in international mechanical contract manufacturing, has served on the maxon Group's Board of Directors since 2018.

Dr. Andreas Casutt joined the maxon Group's Board of Directors in 2014, specializing in corporate law, contract law, mergers and acquisitions, and stock exchange law.

Kurt Kwapil, the founder of maxon's former distribution partner in Austria (now maxon Austria), has been serving on the Board of Directors of the maxon Group since 2013.
